This Cox Professional radiator guard set was designed specifically to address professional racing conditions, where a high velocity object may come from the tire of a rider directly ahead. In some rare conditions, aluminum may not be strong enough to stop that object. The titanium screens used in Cox PRO radiator guards are 5 to 10 times stronger while not increasing the weight of the unit. Cox PRO Radiator and Oil cooler Guards are engineered so they are manufactured without welding. Frames are cut from a sheet of .060" 5051 aluminum. The screen is .034" expanded aluminum. They then hard anodize every one for a chip-free, tough finish!
