The crossplane R1 isn't the lightest of sportbikes and some of it's OEM magnesium parts are not crash friendly. The Motoholders aluminum subframe addresses both of those issues in one sleekly designed piece. This unit is not engineered to carry passengers. The carbon fiber tray version drops around 1lb if used with a Superbike tail.
