This is a mail-in service. You send us your ECU and we reflash it to your custom specifications. Note – We know we're offering this service at a price point considerably lower than our competitors. We are offering a service equal to or better than any of our competitors and with unparalleled support. We will make sure that every ECU is right for each rider. We can return the ECU to stock if needed, free of charge.
We will give your bike an additional 7-10 rear wheel horsepower and remove all throttle and timing restrictions on the bike from the factory that US model YZF-R1s have. This does not impact reliability. We then fine tune, much like the YEC race ECU. You'll have a much more responsive and smooth throttle. Various fuel maps are available for bikes with stock exhaust, a full system, slip ons or a 3/4 (cat-back) exhaust system.

We have several preconfigured ECU images that have been track tested and will work great for your bike, or we can make optimal setting recommendations for your own customized image.
After your purchase is completed, you will receive a confirmation via email that includes a questionnaire regarding your motorcycle and your preferences on our flash settings, as well as the address you'll send the ECU to.
Each ECU is return shipped with $110 in insurance. Selecting the full coverage service ensures insurance up to $1200.

Note that this ECU flash can cause a fluctuating idle in some 07/08 YZF-R1 models. This does not impact performance.
Best thing I’ve done to my bike yet! I can really tell the difference. Jerky throttle is gone and the throttle is way smoother and very responsive. This thing pulls so much harder also! Just letting off the clutch in 1st with no throttle the bike goes 13-15 mph. This is a must. Very pleased with this flash!
extremely pleased. Thought my bike was fast just having the prepaid power commander map but after getting the flash and the restrictions lifted from the ecu this thing is noticeable faster and smoother.

Spot on. My r1 feels as it should. Extremely excited about this. Super responsive now. Shifts smoother. Deceleration doesn’t pull as hard. Soon as you let the clutch out it pulls inside of Deceleration. Noticeable difference all around. Shipping was spot on I goofed on my end an they responded right away and made sure everything was correct. Price wise also. Great. 180 is a deal.
